Vanilla No-Bake Cupcakes with Buttercream

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
- 1 tablespoon finely grated orange zest
- Flaky sea salt, to taste
Method
- In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and granulated sugar. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the vanilla extract, softened butter, and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until a smooth batter forms. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whip the chilled heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the batter until well combined.
- Divide the batter evenly into 12 cupcake liners. Smooth the tops with a spatula.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter for the buttercream, orange zest, and a pinch of flaky sea salt. Mix until smooth.
