This Thai Summer Mango and Avocado Salad is vibrant, refreshing, and perfect for warm weather. Combining ripe mango with creamy avocado and a tangy lime dressing, this dish is both simple and satisfying. It's an ideal choice for a light lunch or a healthy side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 fresh chili, thinly sliced
  • Flaky sea salt, to taste

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced mangoes, diced avocado, and thinly sliced red onion.
  2. Add the fresh cilantro leaves and gently toss to combine.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, fish sauce, and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Pour the lime dressing over the mango and avocado mixture and gently toss to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and sliced fresh chili.
  6. Season with flaky sea salt to taste and serve immediately.
