Simple Ground Beef Tacos

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Sour cream, for serving
Method
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic, ground cumin, and smoked paprika.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, about 8 minutes.
- Season the beef mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by filling each tortilla with the beef mixture, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
