Simple Fudgy Brownies
These fudgy brownies are perfect for summer gatherings or a sweet treat at home. Easy to make and irresistibly chocolatey, they're sure to become a family favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar and vanilla extract.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the cocoa powder until smooth.
- Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Stir in the chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is just slightly gooey.
- Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
