Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Flaky sea salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 large bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 large red onion, sliced
  • 1 zucchini, sliced into half-moons
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the beef mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing up during cooking.
  4. Place the patties on one half of the prepared sheet pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, toss the sliced bell peppers, red onion, and zucchini with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread the vegetables on the other half of the sheet pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, flipping the patties and stirring the vegetables halfway through.
  8. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and return to the oven for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve the burgers with the roasted vegetables on the side.
