Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Flaky sea salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 large bell peppers, sliced
- 1 large red onion, sliced
- 1 zucchini, sliced into half-moons
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form the beef mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing up during cooking.
- Place the patties on one half of the prepared sheet pan.
- In a separate bowl, toss the sliced bell peppers, red onion, and zucchini with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the vegetables on the other half of the sheet pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, flipping the patties and stirring the vegetables halfway through.
- Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and return to the oven for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve the burgers with the roasted vegetables on the side.
