Juicy Pan-Fried Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Method
- Remove pork chops from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and ground black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they have a golden-brown crust.
