Hearty Homestyle Meatloaf

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down evenly.
- Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) and the top is browned and caramelized.
