Garlic Butter Shrimp One-Pan Dinner
This garlic butter shrimp dish combines succulent shrimp with a rich and comforting garlic butter sauce, all prepared in a single pan. It's perfect for a cozy dinner any night of the week.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Method
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
- Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the unsalted butter. Allow it to melt.
- Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly, until the garlic is fragrant.
- Stir in the red pepper flakes and lemon juice, mixing well.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss them to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the shrimp and give everything a final toss. Serve immediately.
