Easy Oven-Baked Ribs
These oven-baked ribs are perfect for a cozy winter dinner. With a short preparation time and easy steps, they're great for satisfying cravings without much fuss.
Ingredients
- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce, sugar-free for keto
Method
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the olive oil over the ribs, then coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
- Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours.
- Carefully remove the ribs from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
- Unwrap the ribs and brush both sides generously with barbecue sauce.
- Place the ribs back in the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 20 minutes, until the sauce has caramelized.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then cut into individual ribs and serve.
