Easy Oven-Baked Ribs

These oven-baked ribs are perfect for a cozy winter dinner. With a short preparation time and easy steps, they're great for satisfying cravings without much fuss.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce, sugar-free for keto

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the olive oil over the ribs, then coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  5. Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours.
  7. Carefully remove the ribs from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
  8. Unwrap the ribs and brush both sides generously with barbecue sauce.
  9. Place the ribs back in the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 20 minutes, until the sauce has caramelized.
  10. Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then cut into individual ribs and serve.
