Crispy Pan-Fried Chicken Thighs

  • 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season them on both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  4. Flip the chicken thighs and continue cooking for another 8-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Transfer the chicken thighs to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
