Baked Ham with Honey Glaze

Ingredients
- 5 pounds fully cooked bone-in ham
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Method
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut side down. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern with a sharp knife.
- In a small bowl, mix together the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, and freshly ground black pepper.
- Brush half of the glaze over the scored surface of the ham.
- Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
- Remove the foil, brush the remaining glaze over the ham, and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally, until the glaze is caramelized and the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140°F (60°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
