Baked Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Flaky sea salt, to taste
Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with flaky sea salt and black pepper.
- In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and garlic powder.
- Coat each chicken breast with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast, then top with mozzarella cheese.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving. Serve hot.
